DESIGNING SERVICES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PEOPLE AND FAMILIES PRESENTED BY KATE FULTON FRIDAY 24 MARCH 2017 9.15AM —4.00PM WOLLASTON CONFERENCE CENTRE—MT CLAREMONT This workshop draws on international examples of co-production or genuine partnerships to design and develop services and supports to people who are looking for support now or in the future. We will explore the principles of co-production including: Recognising people as assets Valuing work differently Promoting reciprocity Building social networks The workshop will look at a range of areas where partnerships are needed including: Leadership and governance Operational implementation This workshop is open to partners – ideally a worker with responsibility for leadership and influence in an organisation and a person/family member who is interested in having an influence in that organisation. People can of course book themselves, however we recommend a partnership from the start and as you mean to go on! ABOUT THE PRESENTER: Kate Fulton has worked alongside people and families for many years working in a range of settings and communities. Kate is passionate about individuals directing their own lives and feels that she has been incredibly privileged to meet people and families who have shared their experiences of helpful supports and creative approaches. change.
